Home / Featured DSi / Black or White DSi
The launch of the Nintendo DSi back in November was the moment that first stirred the excitement of gamers the world over. After weeks of muttering as a short announcement at a conference in October, the day had finally come to see the new model – which certainly didn’t disappoint.
The new stunning polished exterior of the DSi was more comparable to a futuristic laptop computer, rather than a handheld games console. In a year where sleek has triumphed, Nintendo seemed to have joined the bandwagon replicating a thin, slim model.
The colour of the DSi console is either a matte Black or a gleaming White finish. Seemingly taking tips from a certain American cousin, the new dual coloured design is simply stunning, adding perhaps the final touch needed to the DS range.
Suitable for either kids or adults, the colour of the DSi has the unique quality of being universally attractive. Although the range of colour so heavily associated with Nintendo’s products has finally disappeared, it is certainly for the better. Both the white DSi and Black DSi are ready made models and do not have the stigma attached to removable cases that can often prove brittle under pressure.
What ever your fancy, the look of the new Nintendo DSi is one that makes you step back and admire, and as long as you can get your hands on one – it doesn’t matter if its Black or White.
